CUT TRENDS.

Low taper + natural texture
A soft taper at the ears and neckline keeps the cut clean while the top stays longer and textured. It grows out gracefully, so it looks good for weeks.
Barber tip: Ask for a low taper and tell your barber how much length you want to keep on top.

The textured crop
A short, choppy top with a straight or messy fringe over faded sides. Easy to style with a little matte product and works with straight or wavy hair.
Barber tip: Bring a photo of the fringe length you like — it changes the whole look.

Sharp skin fades
Sides blended all the way down to the skin give the highest contrast. Pair it with a line-up or a beard for a crisp, defined finish.
Barber tip: Skin fades look sharpest with a touch-up every 2–3 weeks.

KNOW YOUR CUT.
The words barbers use, in plain language.
- Taper
- Hair gets gradually shorter only at the edges — sideburns and neckline.
- Fade
- Hair blends from longer to very short along the sides and back. Low, mid or high says where it starts.
- Skin fade
- A fade that goes all the way down to bare skin.
- Crop
- Short textured top, usually with a fringe pushed forward.
- Crew cut
- Short, even top with tidy tapered sides. Classic and low effort.
- Side part
- Hair combed to one side from a defined part, sometimes shaved in as a hard part.
- Line-up
- Crisp edges along the hairline, temples and beard.

Curly & coily hair
Tapers and fades let curls stay full on top while the sides stay clean. Ask your barber to cut with the curl pattern.
Barber tip: A light leave-in keeps curls defined between visits.
